Anime Fall 2012 Recommendations + New Affiliate
11/10/12 | 1 Comments | Top

So, time for some anime recommendations! This time, I'll be recommending some titles that was released this Fall 2012. I've watched almost 5 episodes of each before writing but I have to say that you also have to watch Initial D 5th Stage too (which is a bi-monthly series and just got released).

Note: The titles here were ranked and listed based on my interest or favorite field of genre. So not all of them might amuse you like what it did to me so you better read the reviews that are posted on some anime review sites (I recommend Angry Anime Bitches) and see if they suit your taste/s.

Please also welcome my new affiliate! Bubble Pop Star. Their blends are really nice so I really recommend you to check them out! :)

So, if you're ready, the titles are ready too, just see under the cut~

   Robotics; Notes

Oh yes, this series goes at the top of my Fall 2012 recommendations list. Why? OMG It’s 5pb here!!! He’s just the creator of Chaos; Head and Steins; Gate which was also adapted into anime series. Robo-Notes follows a plot of a club that aims to showcase their life-size model of the popular robot, Gunvarell. Of course, with a mix of sci-fi mystery and comedy which you’d be either smiling or laughing all you has got. It has good and smooth animation which relaxes my eyes so it’s really cool to see how the series develops especially the characters and their circle of people who have helped them through.

       Zetsuen no Tempest
Let me tell you this: This anime contains a lot of twist and some seriously serious plot here. Not only that, it impacts to the viewers psychologically. If you haven’t read the manga, you’d be in awe whenever you watch an episode. The animation is the usual from Bones and it has and the characters are just damn interesting to the bones and even the dead ones are so intriguing like they are alive or something throughout the episode/s. Obviously, if you’re into mystery, supernatural and a twist of psychological, this is the best anime for you.
 Magi

OMG Yes, we have a series that was inspired by a Disney story Aladdin and the Golden Lamp but no – this doesn’t follow what you are thinking of. The animation style is cool, the comedy is really great and the characters are just super interesting and funny altogether. It has less sense of seriousness and focus less on mystery but this one has a really good plot and flow of story. I can recommend this to everyone just as is and there are a lot of bishies and shotas here too so get the episodes down and watch them!!!

       Code: Breaker

No shounen enough? I’ll add this then! Another anime series which contains blue flames that is being used by the main character. Aside from being different from Ao no Exorcist, this series contains a lot of humor and all seriousness has the greatest cliffhangers of all time. If you have been reading the manga, surely, you’ll understand what I mean. The series pertains about human lives and how humans have lived through the years and in ANY means possible. This includes being a criminal, dealing drugs, black market and such which has a great relation to our real life situation as well. The characters (especially the Code: Breakers) are very interesting added for their special abilities, they are really badass.

       BTOOOM!

Another shounen we got here. Although different from the others above, this is really, REALLY a serious anime. Compared to another anime that has an online game-based plot, Sword Art Online, this deals with people who have been thrown out by society and they ended up thrown into an island, equipped with different bombs and out for a mission to kill their own kind. Who doesn’t want to play the popular online game of throwing bombs in real life? Well, not the hero of the story, of course. Even though the series is too serious and gory, they still happen to give a little fan service for some characters and some comedy to remedy the stress on a viewer’s brain. Plus the one who sand the opening song, nano is my favorite singer.

       Kamisama Hajimemashita

Enough with the shounen and let us go to the other side, the shoujo. Kamisama Hajimemashita is about a human girl who was appointed as the Earth Diety and has to live with demons inside a temple. Since her life is in wreck because of her father’s debt, she had nowhere else to go and have nothing else to do but to accept her fate. While being the Earth Diety, it’s not that easy and thus giving her challenges along the episode. The humor and the characters are very interesting. Although the animation is kind of dull, still the comedy and the bitter-sweet romance this series has will surely make you enjoy the whole episode per week.

       Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun

Another shoujo that would seriously make you laugh the whole episode. Not only the leading guy is you autistic person but he is also has this weird fondness over a rooster and he seems to be in love with this girl whom he hits and fights with often. So how come, right? But that’s not the issue here. These two actually have this cute love story and weird at the same time. You’ll probably like to watch this series when you have the time and it is not the time to be shouting for rage and laughter.

Well, that’s for my top-7so far and the rest as just for mentions. They are interesting and entertaining to watch but because, maybe, people have different taste on things, surely, they wouldn’t satisfy you 100% like it does to me.
