Another fanart it is! I was on the mood to draw characters from ongoing series that I am currently following and I fell in love with Owari no Seraph's character designs. Plus, all characters in this show are really stunning. I love Ferid, by the way. He and Crowley are the best~By the way, if you still haven't listened to the Drama CD, I have translated them before. Check them out: Click & Click.
This time, I wanted to rest from color pencils. You have no idea how stressing it is for my fingers with the way I color with pencils. And I just didn't imagine that it would be more stressing inking like this so I just went away with it anyway.
As you may have noticed, I used the same design as I did with my Shana fanart. IDK. I just fell in love with decorating everything with flowers ever since I made a drawing gift to one of our former teachers (who is a genius in drawing, btw).
Process details under the cut!

Have you ever tasted the worse dish in your life?Well, no, that's not really what this is all about but in fact, the title says it all. Now, I will post in this entry my (aching) adventure towards creating this fanart of Yukihira Soma from the anime Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma.
Just like with what I have done with the fanart with Shana, I used color pencils and I'm shock to see that I came to love using colored pencils!
I really hated coloring my drawings because I suck at it (yes, I was so bad at it, srsly). But now that I am seeing that I am (somehow) getting better, it became a great joy. I hope that I can improve better in the future with this.
Progress images are under the cut!

Who would have thought I would be drawing a fanart?
I usually don't draw fanarts because 1. I don't have confidence on my drawing and 2. I am so scared to destroy the characters. And so, I took up a challenge and told myself,
"Let's draw Shana!"
But no. This was a request from a friend. And it's because I am a good friend, I can never say no, can I? And so, I prayed,
"Noizi Ito, I'm sorry for I destroyed your Shana illustration."
I didn't plan on coloring this piece. I mean, I (seriously) suck at coloring art traditionally and I only do it with posters with pastels during high school and that was the end of it. But there was this event I went into and found these artists drawing live and I felt so inspired all of the sudden (I remember that feeling when my fingers were itching to draw and color on my way back home).
There's this one artist with a really cute drawing style and uses color pencils on coloring her works and I really liked it so why not try it myself?
I did some color pencil stuff before, it was when I was still in College, I think. And I only did it because I wanted to try coloring with only three colors and... IDK if I did it successfully though.
Process is under the cut!

It was done on the day, of course but I only had the time to put it up right here. LOL This is one of the birthday gift I gave to her and I'm glad that she's happy about it. The truth is, it has been a long time since I seriously drawn something again and she was complaining about it so I decided to draw something for her, seriously, for her birthday!Click on the photo to see actual quality and size!
She's supposed to be Luka Megurine, a vocaloid, so I'm sorry if she doesn't look anything like her. She's her favorite Vocaloid because she has big boobs (loljk). I actually done the inking by hand by the use of a pen and it was hard since my pulse actually changed a lot without me, noticing it. Although I still produced quite a good result. XD
This was given along with the Luka Megurine nendroid (see facebook post) that me, Kiel (she has no public links to share) and Tenshi bought together. :>
